  • What are the services being provided?

    We offer 3 subscription plans -Self Help, Half Yearly and Annual which provides platform to build one’s own personalised Family Tree , digitally saved so long as the subscription continues, print it as and when you need and share it with relatives. It offers monthly, half yearly and annual payment plans.

    Apart from the above service, we also provide genealogical assistance to help you build your tree, obtain all information’s based on details provided by you or carry out research on your family legacy based on information available in the census, birth and death records available with the various municipalities within India, research on data available globally in other international sites based on request as needed. This service is fee based and is charged on an hourly basis as stated in our Plans and pricing page of our website.

  • How many members can be added in the family tree?

    We have noted that the family sizes are very small and so the need to add members is also limited. Based on that , currently, one can add 50 members for Self Help, 100 members for Half yearly subscription and 250 for annual subscriptions.

    However, if you need to add more members, we can provide you the facility of adding unlimited members at an additional nominal fee.

  • Can I collaborate with known members of my family to build the family tree onsite?

    For creating a Family Tree in Famili Vistas and retain it, one need to be a member by subscribing to a plan. One can collaborate offline to get information and add members or allow collaborating by sharing the tree and allowing access to a guest ( as a non-member) to add members. However, the guest cannot edit the existing tree created by the member.

  • Is the data of the family tree secure?

    The data is absolutely secure with the platform hosted with Go Daddy (a renowned international cloud service provider with data centre in India) which provides SSL premium encryption of data.

  • Will I lose the data of my family tree if the subscription is over?

    To preserve your family tree it is absolutely necessary to continue the subscription. If you want to discontinue your subscription but still want to preserve your tree, you can always take a print of the same and keep it with you.

  • Is my family tree printable?

    After having built your tree, you can print your personalised family tree. If you want to print in attractive binder, you will have to pay an additional fee and it can be also be provided. You will have to drop in a mail to support@familivistas.com

  • Often family data beyond 5 generations are missing, can someone consult a genealogist about this issue while making a tree? (genealogy help)

    Genealogy being a very specialized field requires a lot of patience effort and time to research and present all the information needed. which are not easily found and require time to collect. Famili Vistas offers Genealogical assistance to help you gather all the information you need to preserve for your family..

  • How is a digital tree better than a traditional paper version? (benefits of digital trees)

    A digital Family Tree is more permanent in nature compared to a paper version in the long term. A digital tree would be clutter free, editable, presentable and printable. Paper can fade away or get destroyed over time. Any objects in physical form also require a lot of space and may get lost or damaged without proper handling. Your Famili Vistas tree can store all your associated documents and images in the system to provide further insight into your family heritage. All of them can be easily retrieved and viewed or downloaded whenever needed by the owners of the tree.

  • What if I do not have enough information to build my family tree?

    If you do not have enough information, apart from your own nuclear family and wish to extend it to your greater family, you may engage a Famili Vistas genealogist who can coordinate with you and get all the information for you based on your authorisation. Hiring a Famili Vistas genealogist is easy. You can simply subscribe to it by paying the charges or send a mail to support@familivistas.com and discuss before finalising the plan. Alternatively you may contact your Family Tree Manager.

  • Can I add videos to my tree?

    Yes, your subscription provides space allocated to you as per plan for you to be able to add videos, photographs and other documents to your family tree. You can pay an additional fee to avail more space - connect with your Family Tree Manager at…….

  • Is genealogist help included in my subscription?

    Genealogical assistance is not included in the subscription and needs to be paid separately.

  • How do I get in touch with the genealogist?
